About your role

 

We’re excited to be recruiting a passionate Customer Service Representative to join our team at the Newmarket Office on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, covering maternity leave.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive and collaborative team. We’ll provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to ensure you’re set up for success and ready to hit the ground running with all things Ixom! 

 

At IXOM, our customers are the most integral part of what we do. Alongside a complex warehousing, logistics and supply chain function, the Customer Service teams are responsible for ensuring all our customers get end to end support. To be successful in this role you will be eager to learn, driven, and have excellent organisation & communication skills.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Manage the customer order process (end to end)
  • Ensure orders are raised in line with DIFOT processes
  • Ensure the accurate delivery of the right product to the right customer
  • Build and maintain excellent customer relationships
  • Accurate recording and processing of all orders
  • Work closely with the Account Management and Supply teams to meet customer needs
  • Monitor orders and take a proactive approach to resolve any potential problems
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Develop and maintain collaborative, cooperative and effective relationships with internal stakeholders

 

What are we looking for?

 

  • Have customer service experience, either phone based or face-to-face
  • Be a good team player with the ability to handle stressful situations
  • Comfortable influencing stakeholders
  • Ability to think on your feet and problem solve
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • A background in Supply Chain or Logistics will be highly regarded
