Your Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance & Regulatory Coordinator to join our close-knit team at our Mt Maunganui site.  Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, this role is responsible for creating and maintaining regulatory  product documentation, liaising with the wider Quality team to achieve required compliance and reliability outcomes for the operations function.  You will be part of a collaborative, supportive team where your contribution and opinion are truly valued. Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure appropriate quality systems and processes are in place, maintained and audited to ensure quality, efficiency and effectiveness is maximised
  • Complete Customer quality and food safety questionnaires  for PCS, Agricultural and Watercare business units
  • Assist in customer audits and conduct internal audits
  • Generate and maintain product documentation including product statement, supplier assessments, PIF's for each business unit
  • Generate required content for product approvals through MPI approval process
  • Assist customers by responding to technical document requests, and managing customer product quality complaints, where required.
  • Conduct Regulatory checks and approval for NPI
  • Participate in QA projects and help develop process improvements
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers to generate appropriate documentation and ensure it is current and accurate
  • Ensure MPI registration is current for PCS and Agricultural products
  • Liaison with Regulators, industry and academics and monitoring of changes to legislation and standards
  • Work closely with the Australian Regulatory team to build and maintain common approach to Regulatory and Quality processes (including the product stewardship program).
  • Provide support and guidance to the broader business on quality and technical requirements.

 

Your Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience in Food, Dairy or water industry, with regulatory roles
  • Solid understanding of ISO9001, FSSC22000 standards, GMP and HSNO.
  • Knowledge of NZ Food Standards, MPI and Biosecurity compliance
  • Knowledge and experience with dangerous goods and hazardous goods compliance
  • Strong interpersonal skills, Excellent communication, Able to relate at all levels, computer literacy, problem solving abilities, decision making, customer focus
