Plant Engineer

About your role

Based at our Hazard Facility in Deer Park, VIC and reporting to our Regional Maintenance and Asset Integrity Manager, we’re seeking a qualified and experienced hands on Mechanical Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance activities so that our assets are available to operate in a safe, timely and reliable condition 
• Create team focus by collaboratively translating strategy into team goals with clear individual accountabilities
• Embed maintenance planning processes
• Collaborate with the Site Managers to ensure delivery of service against agreed outcomes
• Set safety, environmental, quality and behavioural expectations and adherence, leading from the front and in line with Ixom guidelines

Who are we looking for?

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia is essential.
• Registered in RPEQ, RPEV and/or CPEng
• Hands on mechanical experience in maintaining a continuous process plant.
• Knowledge in safety and reliability of chemical manufacturing plants desirable
• Excellent customer / stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing ability 
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently across other IXOM sites.
