Analyst Supply Chain

About your role

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how IXOM’s Supply Chain operates and evolves. This role dives deep into business needs and turns them into smart, scalable IT solutions that strengthen IXOM’s end‑to‑end Supply Chain performance.

You’ll design and define robust solution architectures—selecting the right tools, crafting detailed specifications, and developing the technical blueprints that guide successful project delivery. Beyond solution design, you’ll identify opportunities to introduce new processes or enhance existing ones, driving continuous improvement across the entire Supply Chain function.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business and technology and is motivated by the opportunity to influence how Supply Chain capabilities are built, optimised and future‑proofed across IXOM.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage key stakeholders to understand and define Supply Chain business needs.
• Use modelling and analysis tools to turn business insights into actionable solutions.
• Assess solution options and recommend the best fit for business outcomes.
• Run workshops, interviews, surveys and prototyping sessions to uncover detailed requirements.
• Evaluate project value to ensure alignment with IXOM’s strategic priorities.
• Assess technical feasibility and ensure alignment with IT strategy.
• Validate business requirements to confirm expected performance and functionality.
• Identify opportunities to reuse or enhance existing solution designs.
• Stay across emerging technologies and identify opportunities for new solution deployment.
• Design integrated, end‑to‑end solutions that guide successful project implementation.
• Define functional and technical specifications across processes, applications, interfaces and infrastructure.
• Ensure solution designs align with enterprise architecture principles.
• Identify opportunities to improve or redesign business and IT processes.

Who are we looking for?

• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP MM or associated SAP stream across Supply Chain processes.
• Background in solution design or functional consulting.
• Qualification in an IT‑related discipline.
• Familiarity with recognised solution architecture frameworks.
• Ability to break down complex problems, gather data and draw clear conclusions.
• Proven capability to propose effective solutions to business and technology challenges.
• Comfortable working independently while staying aligned with key stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong analytical ability to synthesise information from customer needs.
• Skilled in documenting business requirements clearly and concisely.
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects at once.
