Your role

 

Through continued growth and success within the business, we are currently searching for 2 Continuous Improvement Business Partners to join part of the broader Continuous Improvement team in newly created positions.

 

With offices in a variety of locations across Australia and New Zealand we are open to where this role is based. This position will require travel around our sites which could be domestically and internationally.

 

This role will primarily be responsible for partnering with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and Quality Control functional leaders to improve current processes and systems and deliver improvement opportunities. The successful candidate will also be responsible for embedding best practice in manufacturing and reliability as well as building capability at all levels through training, awareness and working in collaboration with the site teams.

 

Your responsibilities

 

  • Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to evaluate and implement process improvements
  • Facilitate teams in developing and executing LEAN plans
  • Hold the role of "change agent" identifying and implementing LEAN improvements
  • Implement improvements to Ixom systems so customers' (both internal and external) expectations are met
  • Effectively aligns business processes to deliver value
  • Coach and train to apply, support, sustain and develop a Continuous Improvement culture
  • Analyse current processes by generating Process Flow Diagrams and Value Stream Maps
  • Ability to train employees within the organisation on the various strategies and tools of continual improvement
  • Works with the CI team to develop standards, templates and training material 

 

Your skills & experience

 

  • Tertiary qualified in Engineering, Science, Business etc would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work cohesively, influence others and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Applied change expertise with proven stakeholder engagement
  • Demonstrated experience with using Lean Six Sigma and problem-solving techniques
  • Applied change expertise with proven stakeholder engagement
  • Six Sigma Qualification (Black/Green Belt) & or Lean Methodology Experience is preferred
  • Experience working within both Operations and/or Supply Chain
