About your role

This is a rare opportunity to step into a high‑impact FP&A role where your work will be visible, valued and influential from day one. As an FP&A Analyst, you’ll go beyond standard reporting — partnering with senior leaders and turning data into insights that directly support commercial decisions.

Working in a small, agile Group FP&A team, you’ll gain exposure typically reserved for more senior roles, including the CFO, CEO, Board and overseas shareholders. You’ll be hands‑on across forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis, with real ownership of work that drives outcomes — not just commentary.

This role is ideal if you enjoy understanding what’s behind the numbers, influencing decision‑making, and accelerating your FP&A career in a role that trusts you, challenges you and gives you room to grow.

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with the FP&A Manager, you’ll support the end‑to‑end Group planning and performance cycle, with responsibilities including:

  • Supporting annual budgets, reforecasts and monthly outlooks
  • Partnering with Group functions to build and track cost budgets
  • Analysing Group and business unit performance across P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
  • Coordinating capital expenditure approvals and tracking investment performance
  • Preparing clear, insight‑driven reporting for the CFO, CEO and Board
  • Delivering ad‑hoc analysis to support senior leadership decision‑making
  • Improving FP&A systems, processes and reporting efficiency
  • Supporting audit requirements and governance compliance

What you’ll gain

  • Confidence partnering at Group and executive level
  • Strong forecasting, modelling and analytical capability
  • The ability to translate complex data into clear commercial insights
  • Broader exposure to strategic and operational decision‑making
  • Credibility as a trusted FP&A business partner

Who are we looking for?

You’re an analytical, commercially minded professional who enjoys turning data into clear, decision‑ready insights. Your background may be in FP&A, accounting, commercial finance or a quantitative field — what matters most is how you analyse and communicate information.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in an analytical or data‑driven role
  • A qualification in finance, accounting or a quantitative discipline (accounting not essential)
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence presenting insights
  • Strong problem‑solving and stakeholder communication skills
  • Experience with enterprise systems; HFM preferred, SAP or Power BI advantageous

Analytically strong candidates from non‑traditional finance backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
