About your role
Are you a strategic leader with a passion for driving transformation and delivering impactful results? IXOM is seeking a dynamic Head of PMO to lead our Project Management Office and shape the future of our Technology and Transformation initiatives.
In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for setting the strategic direction, governance, and performance standards for the PMO. You’ll ensure all projects are aligned with IXOM’s business objectives and delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Leading a team of skilled project managers and coordinators, you’ll foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all Technology and Transformation projects are aligned with IXOM’s strategic goals, delivering measurable value to the business.
- Establish and uphold project management standards, program methodologies, and best practices to ensure consistent and high-quality delivery.
- Monitor project performance across the portfolio, providing actionable insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
- Effectively allocate and manage resources to support successful project execution and optimise team capacity.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business, ensuring their needs are understood and expectations are met.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing PMO team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Design and maintain a robust program prioritisation framework to manage project demand and stakeholder expectations across IXOM.
Who are we looking for?
- Proven experience leading complex, large-scale projects within a manufacturing or industrial environment, with deep knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team of project managers and coordinators, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Skilled in aligning project portfolios with broader business strategy, ensuring initiatives deliver meaningful outcomes and support business goals.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experienced in proactively identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- A commitment to driving innovation and process optimisation, with a track record of implementing best practices and enhancing PMO performance.
