At IXOM, we’re looking for a passionate and driven Junior Account Manager to help us grow our Industrial Division by building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional product and service solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Build and own strong customer relationships through effective account and territory management, timely responses, and proactive follow-up.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of new opportunities to ensure consistent business growth and support sales targets.
  • Deliver annual volume, revenue, and gross margin targets for your assigned customer portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Supply Chain teams to develop tailored supply chain and product solutions.
  • Ensure all SHE&Q (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) requirements are met in line with Ixom policies and external regulations.
  • Provide market intelligence to inform pricing, product planning, and industry strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in the CRM system to support seamless account management.
  • Identify and manage relationship risks early, resolving issues in a way that supports both customer satisfaction and Ixom’s interests.
  • Work closely with Customer Service to ensure service levels are met and customer issues are resolved effectively.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, goal-oriented mindset with strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.

 

 

Who are we looking for?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Early-career experience – Previous exposure to sales or customer service in retail, call centres or junior sales roles is highly valued.
  • You’re eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong communication skills – Confident in presenting ideas and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Negotiation ability – Comfortable navigating commercial discussions and finding win-win outcomes.
  • You thrive on variety – from strategic planning to hands-on client engagement.
