Junior Product Manager – (Graduate Level)

 

In this role, you'll support the growth and development of IXOM's Industrial & Agriculture portfolio, working across a diverse range of products, suppliers and customers. You'll gain valuable exposure to product management, market analysis, pricing strategy, supplier engagement and commercial decision-making, building a strong foundation for a successful long-term career.

 

Working alongside experienced Product Managers and commercial leaders, you'll develop a deep understanding of IXOM's products, customers, suppliers and end markets. You'll contribute to growth initiatives, portfolio management activities, product stewardship programs and commercial projects that directly support business performance and customer success.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional who is looking to combine their technical, analytical or commercial capabilities with hands-on experience in product management and business development.

 

We have a permanent full-time opportunity available for candidates based in Wollongong, NSW, with a work-from-home arrangement

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify market opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Support the development of product, portfolio and marketing plans.
  • Assist with pricing reviews, commercial proposals, RFQ responses and tender submissions.
  • Develop and maintain market intelligence and competitor insights.
  • Support supplier relationship management and sourcing opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate product, supplier and principal information.
  • Partner with Sales teams to identify and progress growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory and Finance teams to support business objectives.
  • Support product stewardship, compliance and sustainability initiatives.
  • Contribute to forecasting, inventory management and commercial performance activities.
  • Participate in growth projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

 

Who are we looking for?

 

We're seeking an ambitious and commercially minded individual who is eager to learn, grow and make an impact.

 

You will ideally have:

 

  • A tertiary qualification in Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or a related discipline.
  • Up to 2 years' experience in product management, sales, marketing, logistics, supply chain or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong data management skills.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
  • Financial literacy and an interest in commercial decision-making.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • A genuine interest in product management, commercial strategy and business development.

 

Recent graduates and candidates with up to two years' experience are encouraged to apply.
