PMO Project Manager - Systems & Process

Your role

 

We are currently recruiting a newly created position in our PMO team for a Project Manager to focus on systems and processes. This is an initial 12-month fixed term contract, with the possibility for extension.

As a member of the IXOM PMO, this position will apply project management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to support project deliverables, processes, and strategies.

 

Your responsibilities

 

  • Development and management of a multifaceted project plan, ensuring key milestones are met
  • Mobilise project team resources, business and support teams to achieve objectives
  • Drive process and systems standards that support the business standards and leverages ERP (SAP) functionality
  • Manage the project plan to ensure it stays within time and budget
  • Lead identification of work stream interdependencies and ensure they are managed successfully
  • Drive process and systems standards that support the IXOM Way

 

Your skills & experience

 

  • Tertiary qualified in Finance, Commerce or equivalent is essential
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) and Lean Six Sigma certified preferred
  • Previous experience in a project management role coupled with experience of working through the business in an operational role such as accounting, finance, or supply chain type role
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP
  • Experienced in creating and leading cross-functional teams through complex business projects
  • Demonstrated strong business and finance acumen
  • Ability to work and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Must be adaptable and able to effectively handle multiple workstreams concurrently; detail oriented
