Join IXOM as a People Partner and help drive a high-performing, people-first culture.
This newly created role, reporting to the Senior Manager, People Partners, offers a unique opportunity to provide expert HR guidance across employee relations, performance management, talent planning, and organisational development.
As a key member of the People & Culture team, you’ll work closely with leaders and teams to deliver impactful solutions that support IXOM’s growth and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Senior Manager, People Partners, to:
- Partner with People & Culture colleagues to address employee relations and performance matters, mitigate risk, and guide leaders through complex situations—balancing people priorities with commercial outcomes.
- Support EBA planning and coordination, interpreting agreements and providing expert advice to employees and People Leaders. You’ll help resolve concerns, manage conflict, and ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
- Drive talent initiatives including succession planning, workforce planning, and talent reviews—ensuring the right people are in the right roles to support business growth.
- Communicate HR policies and procedures clearly and consistently, keeping People Leaders informed and aligned with broader People & Culture strategies.
- Contribute to impactful P&C programs that support organisational goals, foster engagement, and elevate the employee experience.
- Champion continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance P&C processes and collaborating with the broader team to implement change.
Who are we looking for?
- 2-3 years’ experience in a people & culture partnering role.
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related field (commerce, psychology)
- Familiarity with Fair Work Act, award interpretation
- Experience supporting HR functions in dynamic operations or manufacturing environments is highly advantageous.
- Ability to coach, influence and build relationships with leaders and employees
- Detail-oriented, pragmatic in approach, and highly motivated to learn and grow professionally.
- Ability to use data to identify trends, track performance metrics, and inform decisions.
- Willingness to visit operational sites to support the business
