About your role

 

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented professional to join our dynamic Supply Chain team as a Supply Logistics Coordinator within our Life Sciences business unit.

 

Reporting to the Supply Logistics Lead, this role is responsible for managing the end-to-end purchase order process—from placement through to final delivery—while ensuring accurate financial transactions for those orders.

 

You’ll be based at our Melbourne CBD Head Office or Villawood, Sydney site, with the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end purchase order and supply chain process for both domestic and international operations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for purchase order fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
  • Ensure all orders are delivered on time, in full, and meet required specifications and compliance standards.
  • Maintain accurate supplier and product data, including cost of goods sold, in all relevant systems.
  • Monitor and communicate any changes in supply availability to internal stakeholders promptly.
  • Coordinate timely processing of invoices and supplier payments to maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Develop and maintain effective, collaborative relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Provide clear, timely updates on purchase order status to all relevant parties.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements throughout the supply chain process.

 

Who are we looking for?

 

  • Understanding of the end-to-end supply chain process
  • Experience in order management, customer service and logistics is preferred
  • Tertiary qualified in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field would be advantageous but not essential
  • Demonstrated understanding in SAP is preferred
  • Knowledge of transport, freight forwarding, or shipping would be highly regarded
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel
