About your role

 

As a Front Line Supervisor (FLS), you lead and develop a production team that consistently delivers right‑first‑time results. You’re responsible for ensuring ABP’s products—and those of our customers—are manufactured or packaged safely, efficiently, and to the highest GMP and quality standards. Your leadership drives a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and exceptional service, enabling the team to meet and exceed production targets.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead, coach, and develop operators to meet safety, quality, compliance, and production standards.
  • Identify issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement across the line.
  • Ensure all operations comply with company policies, GMP, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support, oversee training, and ensure team competency is maintained.
  • Monitor yields, quality parameters, and material usage, making decisions that optimise performance.
  • Verify accurate batch documentation and adherence to approved procedures.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and efficient equipment setups to prevent contamination and downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineering, QA, and QC to ensure equipment reliability and product quality.
  • Promote a positive, motivated team culture through clear communication and proactive problem‑solving.
  • Suggest and support initiatives that improve safety, efficiency, and cost performance.

 

Who are we looking for?

 

  • Someone who leads with confidence, clarity, and a strong focus on safety and quality
  • A coach and mentor who builds team capability through training and positive reinforcement
  • Experienced in FMCG or high‑volume manufacturing, ideally within food, packaging, or Pharmaceutical sectors
  • Knowledgeable in TGA requirements and compliance within regulated production environments
  • Comfortable using SAP or similar ERP systems for reporting, materials management, and performance tracking
  • Able to make sound decisions under pressure and resolve issues quickly
  • Strong understanding of production processes, GMP, and compliance expectations
  • Committed to continuous improvement and adaptable to change
  • An effective communicator who connects well with people at all levels
  • Professional, accountable, and a strong team player
  • Takes ownership of outcomes and inspires others to do the same
  • Available to work 2:30pm–11:30pm
  • Holds a valid driver’s licence
