About your role
Take the lead in shaping and executing the Quality Strategy for the IXOM Ingredients Business Unit across the APAC region. This pivotal role is responsible for aligning quality and food safety practices across multiple sites and functions, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining accreditations, and driving continuous improvement. As the champion for quality, you’ll oversee systems and assurance to meet customer expectations and uphold IXOM’s high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Quality Strategy aligned with IXOM Ingredients and IXOM Corporate Quality goals.
- Track and report quality KPIs, driving measurable improvements aligned with the Quality Improvement Plan.
- Manage the Quality & Regulatory Affairs team budget to optimise delivery of strategic outcomes.
- Lead quality performance reviews and risk mitigation through structured governance processes.
- Implement and maintain global quality standards across our ingredients function.
- Ensure ongoing certification compliance (e.g. ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, HACCP, TGA, Halal, Kosher).
- Lead product stewardship for Quality, Regulatory, and Vendor Assurance.
- Leverage information, data and systems to identify areas of risk and opportunities of improvement.
- Manage customer quality and regulatory affairs requests, product surveys, and technical support.
- Oversee incident management processes, ensuring effective resolution and risk mitigation.
- Drive accountability through clear goals, performance metrics, and alignment with IXOM values.
- Build and develop a high-performing quality & regulatory affairs team with cross-functional engagement.
- Coach and enable quality capability across IXOM Ingredients through tools, training, and leadership.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to provide expert quality support across commercial, manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain functions.
- Actively contribute to IXOM’s Corporate Quality and ESG community.
Who are we looking for?
You’re a proven quality and regulatory leader with a strong track record of driving compliance, continuous improvement, and a culture of quality across complex operations. You bring a strategic mindset, hands-on leadership, and a passion for excellence in food safety.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years in a senior Quality leadership role (e.g. Head of Quality), ideally within multi-site operations.
- Industry experience in food manufacturing, personal care, or ingredients is highly preferred.
- Strong background in quality and regulatory affairs, compliance management, and risk mitigation.
- Demonstrated success in leading quality teams and transforming quality culture.
- Experience with digitisation and modern quality technologies to enhance performance and reporting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills across all business levels.
- Sound knowldege of hazard identification, risk assessments and risk management principles as applied to product, processes and plant and the potential exposures.
