Your role

 

It is an exciting time to join our business as we continue along our journey of ongoing expansion, change, and transformation. Through continued growth and success, we are searching for a Senior Quality Associate to join our ABP team based on site in Hallam.

Reporting to the Quality Manager – Life Sciences, this role will be responsible for TGA/GMP & HACCP compliance, quality assurance and compliance auditing.

 

Your responsibilities

 

  • Efficient completion of quality assessment and approval of Finished Product Work Orders
  • Act as 2IC to the Quality Manager
  • Ensure all aspects of Pharmaceutical Quality Systems within ABP are compliant with the current requirements set by TGA, Food standards and safety compliance (HACCP) codes of GMP, ACO, Halal & Kosher
  • Ensure a best practice approach to Vendor QA
  • Development of QA staff to achieve high level of understanding and working knowledge of all aspects of current standards and legislation
  • Host regulatory audits from TGA, ACO, HACCP Australia, Halal Certification body, Kosher Australia regulatory body and customers
  • Perform internal audit as required by quality and safety standards
  • Assist with the execution and maintenance of the quality management system
  • Develop training modules and deliver training and assessment in the GMP requirements as applicable to staff
  • Lead investigation (Deviations, Customer complaints, NCR) and CAPA outcomes
  • Perform release for sale activities
  • Continual Improvement - suggest and implement safety, product and process improvements

 

Your skills & experience

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Science, Food Science/Technology or related
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a TGA licenced facility
  • Recent and prior QA experience ideally in the Essential Oils, Cosmetic, Health & Personal Care or Food & Beverage Industry
  • Strong knowledge of managing quality management systems and running internal audits against the QMS
  • Ability to train and influence all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to work well under deadlines with excellent time management skills
  • Be approachable, enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable
  • Good organisational skills and problem-solving abilities
