Warehouse Operator

Australian Botanical Products (ABP), an IXOM brand, is a leading supplier of Essential Oils in Australia and New Zealand, with a growing presence in Asia. ABP has supplied essential oils, plant extracts and fragrances for use in a range of industries including cosmetic, pharmaceutical, food and flavour & fragrance. ABP is a TGA manufacturing facility offering contract manufacture and producing proprietary listed medicines for the domestic and export markets.

Expanding on IXOM’s established Keith Harris fragrance & flavour manufacturing and Bronson & Jacobs distribution businesses, ABP strengthens and grow IXOM’s specialised product portfolio, as well as local fragrance manufacturing capabilities, to open expanded customer markets.

About your role

We currently have an opportunity for willing and capable Warehouse Operators to join our team at Hallam site.

We have 2 x full time permanent positions available

In this role you will be assisting with the warehousing activities and distribution duties as requested, across a wide range of products.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and handle general warehouse tasks
• Load and unload trucks
• Manage inwards goods and inventory
• Receipt products and update system records
• Conduct QA checks on incoming products
• Follow safety procedures for dangerous goods
• Maintain SH&E and Food Safety standards
• Keep the warehouse clean and organised
• Assist with incident investigations

Who are we looking for?

• Current and valid forklift license with significant amount of experience
• Previous experience within a warehousing and/or manufacturing environment (chemicals, food, dairy, pharmaceutical)
• Prior experience with chemicals and handling dangerous good will be highly regarded
• Basic computer skills
• SAP experience will be highly regarded
• Team player, adaptable, proactive in approach and good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work autonomously
