Your role

 

A unique opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Key Account Manager has become available, to support and grow our successful Industrial business through the recent establishment of Adblue supply in Australia.

As part of the Industrial Adblue sales team, you will be accountable for managing relationships and sales performance across corporate key accounts. This role offers a blend of business development and commercial activity, which is pivotal in growing our Adblue portfolio across Australia.

The successful candidate will work flexibly and autonomously with a large portion of time spent on the road alongside customers. For this reason, we are flexible on the candidate being based from either our Botany, NSW or Melbourne, VIC offices.

Your responsibilities

 

  • Provide responsive account management and outstanding customer service.
  • Identify, drive and deliver new business growth within your territory to improve business profitability.
  • Generate leads through customer interaction e.g., visits, calls, written correspondence.
  • Capture market intelligence and competitor information, used by Industry Leads and Product Managers to inform pricing, product plans and industry strategies.
  • Manage customer information and correspondence through IXOM’s CRM system for your assigned territory.
  • Generate internal territory reports and customer presentations as required.
  • Liaise with Product Management, Technical Support and other parts of business to develop proposals, RFQ responses and pricing letters.
  • Work with Product Managers to ensure customer pricing is loaded and maintained.
  • Work with Supply Chain to track delivery performance and promptly address any customer complaints or issues.
  • Represent Ixom at industry events and conferences as relevant to your market and territory.

 

 

Your skills & experience

 

  • Prior experience in a Commercial or Corporate Sales role (ideally 5+ years) in a B2B or B2C environment
  • Experience in relevant product technologies – within the fuel, industrial chemical or automotive space
  • Genuine new business development expertise with the ability to create opportunities through various channels.
  • Proven track record in managing customer accounts, developing strong customer relationships and delivering sales growth
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build longstanding relationships
  • Bid preparation, negotiation and price management experience
  • Commercial acumen to offer astute insights and advice
  • Tenacious, driven and motivated by the thrill of a win
  • Qualification in Business, Science or Engineering would be highly regarded or equivalent transport/automotive industry experience
