Manufacturing Site Manager
Morrinsville, NZ, 3300
We're seeking a Site Manager to lead our Morrinsville and Kinleith operations, overseeing the safe, compliant and efficient supply of products that support critical industries, including drinking water treatment, food production and infrastructure across New Zealand. The role leads both sites and is accountable for safety, operational performance, quality and continuous improvement.
This is an exciting time to join IXOM. With planned investment, site expansion activities and future growth initiatives underway at Morrinsville, you'll play a key role in shaping the next chapter of our New Zealand manufacturing operations.
What’s on offer
- Lead two strategically important manufacturing sites across New Zealand.
- Drive future site investment, operational improvements and growth initiatives.
- Lead an experienced leadership team with 8+ direct reports and a broader team of more than 20 employees.

About your role
This is a genuine site leadership position where you'll be highly visible across both operations.
You'll spend your time working closely with operators, supervisors, contractors and site leaders to ensure the safe and effective operation of both sites. This is not an office-based management role — success comes from being present, building capability and leading from the front.
Along with day-to-day operational leadership, you'll support significant site investment projects, oversee contractor management, drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance across multiple production and warehousing operations.
Regular travel to Kinleith is required, where you'll provide leadership across a 24/7 operation supporting key customers and critical supply requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead safety, health and environmental performance across both sites.
- Drive operational performance across production, quality, logistics and warehousing.
- Build capability and accountability within site leadership teams.
- Lead continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- Oversee food safety, quality and regulatory compliance standards.
- Manage contractor activities and support site expansion projects.
- Support emergency response readiness, permit-to-work governance and process safety activities.
- Partner with commercial and supply chain teams to align manufacturing capability with customer demand.
