A unique opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Account Manager has become available, to add value to existing customers and grow our successful Industrial business.

As part of the Industrial Adblue sales team, you will be accountable for customer management and sales performance. This role offers a blend of business development and commercial activity, which is pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction.

Based in our Mount Maunganui office, the successful candidate will work flexibly and autonomously with a portion of time spent on the road alongside customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide responsive account management and outstanding customer service.
  • Generate leads through customer interaction e.g., visits, calls, written correspondence.
  • Capture market intelligence and competitor information, used by Industry Leads and Product Managers to inform pricing, product plans and industry strategies.
  • Manage customer information and correspondence through IXOM’s CRM system
  • Generate internal reports and customer presentations as required.
  • Work with Supply Chain to track delivery performance and promptly address any customer complaints or issues.

 

Who are we looking for?

  • Prior experience in a sales - within the fuel, industrial chemical, transport or automotive space very highly regarded
  • Genuine new business development expertise with the ability to create opportunities through various channels.
  • Proven track record in managing customer accounts, developing strong customer relationships and delivering sales growth
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build longstanding relationships
  • Technical expertise is advantageous.
  • Commercial acumen to offer astute insights and advice
  • Assist clients in meeting regulatory requirements and Health & Safety.
