About your role
Reporting to our Warehouse Team Leader, you will join a team of five based at Mt Maunganui. This role is critical in ensuring customer orders and inventory management practices are maintained in the IXOM warehouse. You will manage inwards goods activities, inventory management, and order picking, as well as loading and unloading trucks and containers on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a range of general warehouse tasks, including receiving inwards goods, accurately picking and dispatching orders, loading, and unloading containers, preparing products, accurately completing paperwork.
- and labelling IBCs, drums, and polys for production, as well as handling daily freight, and export containers.
- Manage and maintain inventory levels in accordance with IXOM standards and HSNO legislation.
- Follow and maintain IXOM’s Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Standards.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised warehouse area.
- Assist manufacturing with forklift operations when necessary.
Who are we looking for?
- Able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining safety and accuracy
- Forklift and Driver’s License
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems
- Physically able to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods, must be able to pass pre-employment medical
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills
- Clear communicator, able to interact with a wide range of people
- Experience handling hazardous goods in a Major Hazard Facility (ideal)
