Process Operator

Your role
Reporting to the Site Manager, we have an opportunity for a Process Operator to join our Narangba team. We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking go-getter with a positive attitude to contribute to the safe and efficient day to day operations of the site, including the manufacturing of chemicals used in water treatment and mining industries and general warehousing duties.
Your responsibilities
- Operate automated and manual chemical mixing plants
- Maintain clean and tidy workplace to effectively manage hazards
- Work to approved processes and procedures
- Assist with receipt of inbound goods and put away accurately
- Assist with safety investigations. Report and investigate plant performance and operational problems
- Forklift operation
- Manage receipt of inbound goods and put away accurately, provide stock in/out sheets to operations administrator.
- Use Lifecycle to update daily work board with expected inbound deliveries
- Identify and implement strategies to improve warehouse operations
- Report any quality issues to site manager and report in Velocity
Your skills & experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing, continuous or batch chemical process plant is highly regarded
- Forklift license with some relevant manufacturing or warehousing experience
- Possess hands on aptitude and be physically fit
- Attention to detail and a safety focussed mindset
- Competent in computer use such as Microsoft Office. Experience using SAP desirable.
- Capable of wearing respirator equipment for extended durations
