Electrical and Instrumentation Technician

The Role


Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, as an E&I Technician you will be responsible for performing maintenance activities for weekly and long-term maintenance of our Laverton North manufacturing plant, as well as providing planning input to ensure the safe achievement of department objectives.


  • Family friendly roster (Monday - Friday);
  • Comply to and consistently follow the standards and procedures designed to enable you to work safely and effectively every day;
  • Assist with any planned electrical maintenance and complete tasks in a timely manner;
  • Provide electrical trade skills to perform unplanned or breakdown maintenance across the manufacturing site;
  • Work with your team to a high level of accountability and be able to build strong team relationships;


About You


Ideally, you will have experience in utilities or large industrial asset operations or maintenance within Chemical/Gas/Power plants. You will have completed, or recently completed an apprenticeship and will be excited about a career in maintenance, specifically in Electrical and Instrumentation. You hold strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail and proven focus on accurate and efficient record keeping.




The below qualifications are required and must be in date:

  • Victorian A class Electrical licence 
  • Instrumentation certification


Due to COVID-19 and corresponding border closures across Australia, you ideally must be located in Metro Melbourne or be prepared to move to Metro Melbourne for this opportunity.  Further information will be provided throughout the recruitment process.
