Your role


Reporting to the Site Manager, we have an opportunity for a Process Operator to join our Welshpool team. We are hoping that the successful candidate will also be able to provide support to our Kwinana site on a consistent weekly basis. We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking go-getter with a positive attitude to contribute to the safe and efficient day to day operations of the site.

This role is a full-time permanent position with the ability to work a flexibly and include a weekend day as part of your 5-day weekly schedule.


Your responsibilities


  • Manufacturing of sodium hypo as per daily and weekly plan
  • Load and unload trucks, fill containers and oversee the logistics and scheduling of products to meet customer needs
  • Assist with safety investigations, raise incidents, and ensure corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Maintain and improve housekeeping standards
  • Operate the plant, including bulk dispatch/receive process according to site operating procedures
  • Use of technology to manage maintenance, dispatch, and SH&E reporting
  • Report and investigate plant performance and operational problems (including deviations)
  • Assist with maintenance activities in the process and plant areas


Your skills & experience


  • Experience working in a manufacturing, continuous or batch chemical process plant is highly regarded
  • Knowledge of SHEQ standards and statutory regulations within manufacturing
  • Forklift license with relevant experience
  • Proficient in computer use such as Microsoft Office, along with literacy and numeracy
  • Fault finding and problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiasm, dedication, and motivation with the ability to create a positive work environment and a focus on safety
